__ apples, sliced thin

- Pre-heat oven to 375F.
- Roll out the pie crust to line a shallow pie dish with.
- Arrange the sliced apple to evenly cover the bottom.
- Bake in the oven for __ or until the apple is just cooked and still firm.
- When the apple crust is done, remove from the oven and reduce the oven temperature to 350 for the custard.
- Whisk together the eggs and milk quite thoroughly.
- Add the salt, pepper, thyme, sage and petals.
